In the Bathroom From the Dark
So I fell asleep at work tonight, not that that is so unusual, and when I woke up I realized I had not taken any pictures today. I grabbed my camera from my pack and turned it on. Wouldn't you know it, the battery is almost flat, and of course the charger is at the house. I turned it back off to think for a minute about what to shoot. I remember looking through some photos last night and seeing one where a guy covered the flash and took a photo in the mirror in darkness. It looked awesome, so I went for it. I headed for the bathroom and flipped off the light. After picking myself off the floor, man it's dark in there, I took a ton of pictures. It took me a bit to get it right, but I think it turned out pretty well.
I guess this is kind of a continuation of yesterday's blog. Both photo's are a copy of someone else's idea and I feel OK about that now. I realized today that though these are not my ideas I did have to be creative to produce them. Every time you I use someone's idea I have to work out how it was done, you know like that Ben Affleck movie Paycheck. What I'm trying to say is anytime I use someone else's idea it becomes a learning experience, and that's never a bad thing. I hope I am finding the positive in the situation and not just trying to justify my thievery.
